Performance Training Programs

Our training programs last 50 minutes to 1.5 hours (depending on training goals) and has a different daily training emphasis. Each workout focuses on improving the clients ability to become more mobile, stable, powerful, stronger and more efficient in their ability to move while reducing susceptibility to injury. Each participant follows a progressive exercise routine (progressively more challenging once basic techniques have been mastered) with a strong focus on basic and correct technique. During each session, we focus on the following:
Warm-up
  • Soft Tissue Work (Foam Rolling a.k.a self massage)
  • Mobility and Flexibility
  • Muscle activation and dynamic flexibility
  • Balance and stabilization
  • Nervous system activation
Prehab
  • Corrective exercises to help fix imbalances and reduce the chance of injury
Core
  • Exercises designed to strengthen and support the spine to enhance force transfer from the lower body to the upper body and vice versa.
Movement Skill Development (for sport performance programs)
  • Acceleration and deceleration techniques
  • Linear and lateral movement mechanics
Explosive power
  • Medicine Ball work
  • Jump Training
  • Olympic lifting techniques
Strength Training
  • Functional strength training
Conditioning
  • Linear and lateral conditioning
  • Sport Specific Energy System Development
Nutrition Education
  • Meal planning/nutrient timing advice
